Tommy Hunt Terrific at Avalon

Tommy Hunt, David Hamm and Rich Antczak finish 1, 2,3 at Avalon playing well below their handicaps!  Hunt placed 5 pars on the Scorecard easily offsetting two 7s and two 6s and easily breaking 90. His gross 87 was only two more than Marc Bohan, second lowest on the day. David Hamm was equally impressive posting a gross 89, just a stroke higher than his dad. Hunt and Hamm played with the big boys, beating all the low handicappers by over 10 Strokes when net scores were calculated.  Taking third, Rich Antczak displayed a much more controlled game. That giant swing that produced soaring drives but not a lot of consistent accuracy has been replaced by a slower sweeter approach to the game and it showed!  Art Czachorowski finished fourth with a gross 87, getting closer to the form that won 5 Leagues Titles. Mike Unger finished fifth, again demonstrating a much improved game with long drives in play! VEGAS has dropped the odds and believes Unger will return to the winners circle before this season is over.

In the SCATS competition, David Hamm took home a boatload (5 for over $40), including three darts safely closest to the pin on the par threes. Phil Stocker had a nice $25 pay day collecting 3 Scats. Hunt and Glen Chabotar had 2 each for $17.
