This is not Trick Photography. Prior to the delayed start at Emerald Links, the OCAGA Photographers were making pictures of tour players for fan purchase. The photos automatically are stamped with the time. Hearing about the time delay, despite Phil’s objection, Tommy Hunt went home to be with his grandchildren. Because they were in the 1st group, Phil Stocker was “beside” himself. Shortly thereafter Phil was captured in two different rooms “beside” one another at the same time. The OCAGA News Investigative Reporter is in pursuit of further details and will get to the bottom of this phenomena.
Phil Stocker is Amazing. The two time OCAGA Champion continued to thrill his fans dropping 2 Holes in One during a practice round.
Norwegian Cruise Lines now offers a 2 for 1 special called the Stocker!
Glenn Hamm, Marc Bohan and Don St George continued to display masterful skill on a day when Emerald Links significantly challenged the majority. It was not terribly warm and the wind was howling at times throwing question marks at club selections. Hamm for the second straight tournament placed the low gross (this time 83) on the scorecard. Marc delivered an 84 and Charlie Ranucci was way up at 90, a testament to the conditions. Don was next with a 91 and that gave him a second place finish behind winner Glen Hamm. At the half point in the regular season St George, now the point leader, Hamm and Bohan seem to be pulling away from the pack in the race to the final four!
TOP TEN AT THE MID POINT IN THE REGULAR SEASON
- 81 Don St George
- 78 Glenn Hamm
- 77 Marc Bohan
- 59 Andy Swanson
- 51 Scotty Shaw
- 50 Michael Lazarchick
- 50 Art Czachorowski
- 48 Phil Stocker
- 47 Charlie Ranucci
- 44 Tom Hunt
The debate on the race to the Final Four was vigorous at the Polish American Tavern. Andy Swanson won the opener at the Sand Barrens. Since then he has progressively finished farther down in each tournament. To Tavern loyals, clearly, Scotty Shaw, Michael Lazarchick and Art Czachorowski were now in a tight race and certainly the favorites to take the final spot on Championship Sunday! There was considerable “Trash Talking”, disparaging Andy Swanson. However when rebuilding of the Trophy Wall became the topic, serious confusion followed about Polish Nails, apparently being sold by Swanson Health Foods?
Rich Antczak and Michael Lazarchick took the lion’s share in the handicapped group. Marc Bohan continued his dominance in the Scratch Group.
NEXT: Golden Pheasant

I think you guys are just being nice to the old man by letting him have the lead for a while. When the hammer comes down near the end of the season, the true skill of the game will show it’s proverbial head. Thanks. “Old man Don”
